How do I get to the Moscone Center?

Moscone Center South is located at 747 Howard Street in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood. 

We recommend attendees take transit if at all possible. The venue is two blocks from Market Street and easily reach via numerous Muni and BART lines. If you need to look up transit options, we suggest Google Maps or 511.org. If you must drive, we recommend you use the Moscone Center parking garage at 255 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94103. You can find information on rates here from the SFMTA but these are subject to change. Please note we cannot validate parking. 

What do I need to know about arrival and check-in?

Attendees should enter from the corner of Howard and 3rd Streets. (All other doors will be locked.) Look for our signage and registration space in the lobby. 

Registration will open at 8 AM, and the program will being promptly at 9 AM. All attendees must check in and receive their credentials before joining program spaces. No same day registration will be available. 

How do I request translation or accessibility support?

Please be sure to complete the registration form and include any accessibility or translation needs. We will do our best to accommodate needs, but may not be able to meet all needs or requests submitted after April 4th, 2024. Kindly note that the venue is ADA accesible with regards to permanent fixtures, including elevator and door width standards. All ADA trained service animals are welcome. Any non-ADA animals, including ESAs and pets, cannot enter the venue. 

Will there be spacing for nursing?

We welcome all nursing folks and offer two quiet nursing spaces in Moscone Center South. There are two Mamava Suites (one standard, one ADA) are located on the Lower Mezzanine Level near Room 50. 

Please email the staff at sfstatusofwomen@gmail.com if you would like access to a refrigerator for storing medicine or breast milk. We cannot assume responsibility or liability for any items individuals place in the refrigerator. 

If you need a quiet space, there are many terraces and other areas through the venue, but feel free to ask the staff at the registration for additional information.

What’s the venue like?

Moscone is a BIG VENUE and like many other venues, has hot and cold spots. Given the size of the venue, if you think you may need mobility assistance we recommend bringing a cane, walker or coming with a wheelchair. We cannot provide on-site rentals. Wear comfortable shoes and layers!

What’s on the menu for lunch?

We will have coffee and tea available in the morning and a grab and go lunch in the afternoon. 

Your meal options for lunch are:

  • Sumac Spiced Chicken Salad Bowl with Mediterranean Vegetables, Chickpeas, Tabbouleh, Crispy Pita and Tahini Dressing   OR

  • Tofu Lentil Bowl: Sweet Potato and Lentil Buddha Bowl, Tofu, Broccoli, Shredded Carrot, Pumpkin Seeds with Tahini Vinaigrette (Vegan)

A final note:

If you are feeling ill we ask that you stay home to protect the health of the community. A limited amount of masks will be available at registration. In the event of illness or injury on-site, there is an EMT station on the 2nd Floor.
